Targeting Analyst
Location: Tampa, FLMust have active TS/SCI clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Your Mission:
As a Targeting Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and managing target intelligence in support of operational and strategic objectives. You will provide actionable insights that enable commanders to prioritize targets, assess battle damage, and make critical decisions during planning and execution.What You’ll Do:
- Develop targets and target systems for joint lethal and non-lethal engagements.
- Conduct target nominations, create and update database records, and manage target intelligence products.
- Produce all-source analytic damage estimates, battle damage assessments (BDA), and support combat assessment requirements.
- Perform collateral damage estimation (CDE) and support target list management.
- Assist with target strategy development and joint targeting support for deliberate and dynamic operations.
- Provide recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives.
- Create, update, and upload Target Materials (TMs) into databases.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience (based on position level):- Senior Level:
- Master’s degree + 12 years relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 17 years relevant experience
- Mid Level:
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years relevant experience
- Junior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience, OR
- No degree + 7 years relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Strong understanding of joint targeting processes, methodologies, and tools
- Experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis in a defense or military environment
- Proficiency in target intelligence databases and related systems
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable intelligence products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior-level audiences
- Prior experience supporting joint task forces, SOF, or conventional military operations
- Familiarity with advanced targeting tools, databases, and emerging intelligence technologies
- Regional expertise or experience in a designated Area of Responsibility (AOR)
